Process for Reserving a Puppy
01. First Contact
Fill out the general contact form with your information so that we can have a phone conversation as a “meet and greet”. This will help us understand your situation, needs, and your plans to welcome your very own English Cream Golden Retriever into your home. Feel free to ask any questions you may have to ensure that you feel comfortable with caring for a puppy, emotionally, physically and economically.
02. Deposit
After our first contact, if you are ready to proceed with reserving your puppy, we require an initial deposit of $400.00 to secure your very own English Cream Golden Retriever. The deposit secures your place on line to be able to choose your puppy, however it does not guarantee a puppy for this litter. If for any reason (i.e., low litter count), we are unable to have a puppy for you, we will use the deposit for the next available litter.
The deposit will be held for 24 hours and is 100% refundable within this time frame if you decide to change your mind. After the 24 hours, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
03. Puppy Arrival & First Payment
We will inform all future owners when the puppies have arrived. We will also confirm with each future owner on the wait list that there is a puppy available for pick up. Once we have communicated this information, we will proceed to collect 50% of the total balance.
This first payment completes 50% of the total balance and is considered non-refundable.
04. Pick Your Puppy & Complete Payment
At 6 weeks of age, we will contact all future owners to select their new puppy. We will email pictures of all of the available puppies to all future owners, based on the wait list. Each future owner will have 24 hours to make a decision. Once selected, the owner must also provide us with the name of their new puppy. This will be the official recorded name.
Once we have this information, we will proceed to collect the remainder of the total balance. This remaining 50% of the balance is refundable only up until the time of PICK UP, which will be around the 8th week.
05. Pick Up Your Puppy & Official Documents
We will coordinate a date and time for pick up after your puppy turns 8 weeks old. Future owners are responsible for arranging for pick up, however, we do offer safe delivery of your puppy for an additional fee (price of delivery will vary, based on location). If you are unable to pick up your puppy on our pre-scheduled pick up date, we will provide care for your puppy for $50.00 per day until your puppy is picked up.
Documentation – all owners will be provided with AKC Litter Registration papers. You will also be provided with records of current shots and worming. We will provide documents that share ways to raise a happy and healthy English Cream Golden Retriever.
